Responsibilities

• Works as part of a bridges and structures team with other designers at the same functional level across EC offices; undertakes non-routine, medium complex projects.
• Coordinates and leads small design teams focused on structural design for a specific project.
• Conducts noncomplex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, and construction techniques.
• Works autonomously within established procedures with latitude to determine work priorities.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews.
• Ensures that project technical goals, milestones and budgets are met.
• Prepares complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff, providing supervision and mentoring.
