We are looking for a visionary Space Missions Chief Engineer to lead the technical execution of our most ambitious projects and drive innovation across multidisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Do
As Space Missions Chief Engineer, you will :
- Lead the technical execution of full-cycle space missions
- Define and manage the spacecraft’s technical baseline
- Coordinate and execute major design reviews
- Ensure compliance with mission and system requirements
- Author key engineering documentation : specifications, interface control documents, test plans
- Validate technical completion and system compliance
- Advise teams on innovative design processes and technical solutions
- Oversee production and delivery of spacecraft systems
What We’re Looking For
Education :
Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (preferred)Experience :
10+ years in the aerospace industryProven leadership in spacecraft mission engineeringTechnical Expertise :
Deep knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystemsFamiliarity with mechanical, thermal, propulsion, and radiation systemsExperience with space design and analysis tools : CATIA, NASTRAN / PATRAN, ESATAN, FASTRADHands-on approach to solving cross-functional technical challengesUnderstanding of New Space methodologies and low-level integration techniquesOperational experience in full mission lifecyclesExperience with MBSE tools such as Capella or Valispace (desirable)Familiarity with ECSS or other space-related standardsLanguage Skills :
