Safety and Risk Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Risk Management expert to join our team. As a senior technical safety specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and risk management in our projects.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in onshore / offshore facility and brownfield project experience, with significant experience in engineering design of oil and gas facilities. They will also possess excellent communication skills, being able to influence key stakeholders and work effectively in a project environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review deliverables related to Technical Safety / Environmental, including HSE Management Plans, HSE philosophies / Specifications, studies & reviews, HAZOP Management and review, SIL Determination, Hazardous Area Classification, Consequence analysis, BAT / ALARP studies, QRA, FESA, COMAH, Noise Specification, Noise Report Management, Emission Modelling Report, Flare Assessment (distances, emission and radiation), HSE Action Tracking Management, impact and emission calculations and safety equipment specification.
• Participate in numerous workshops as Technical Safety / Environmental Engineer to advise on technical safety related aspects and concerns at HAZOP, HAZID, 3D Model Review, HFE Review, Construction HAZID, etc.
• Ensure compliance with international and specific country legal requirements.
• Facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, SIL Determination, ALARP and ERP Workshop among others.
• Perform radiation and dispersion modeling using Flaresim software (or any similar software) and review the simulations, analyses and utilize.
• Review inter-discipline documents.
• Monitor man-hour budget and prepare weekly workplan and update project progress.
• Ensure schedule and deliverables date are met with high-quality deliverables and action.
• Prepare specification, RFI / RFP and TBE for technical safety items.
