Descripción del trabajo5+ years of backend / platform experience, including 1+ years in a team lead or senior engineer role. Strong experience with a Backend / Systems Language (Java, C++, Rust, C#, GO). Broad experience in software architecture, including microservices, distributed systems, event-driven design and networking protocols. Extensive experience with NoSQL databases and large-scale database architecture. Experience in high-scale backend systems within Gaming, specifically with a slots provider. Solid knowledge of AWS infrastructure. Comfortable making architectural decisions and justifying trade-offs. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and continents. Hands-on and practical; know when to get involved and when to step back. Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Platform team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and structure.
- Own and lead the technical direction and roadmap of the platform.
- Collaborate with the MD, Chief Architect, and Product team to scope and deliver platform features that scale.
- Oversee integrations with operators, aggregators, and regulatory bodies.
- Prioritise stability, performance, and scalability in everything you build.
- Help reduce technical debt and modernise legacy codebases where necessary.
- Champion clean code, testing, documentation, and DevOps best practices.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
