Overview
Senior Continuous Security Assurance Engineer (Hybrid option) – Swiss Re, Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of cybersecurity professionals to advance Swiss Re's cybersecurity capabilities and resilience.
- Build software and engineer solutions to support vulnerability management, penetration testing, and Red Team activities.
- Support pentesting, vulnerability management, and red team demands; integrate vulnerability sensors and process vulnerability data; automate security operations.
- Collaborate with QA and software developers to ensure solutions and integrations meet security, reliability, and availability expectations.
- Operate in an agile team (Scrum) and contribute to continuous security improvement.
- Assist CSA operations teams, IT, and sensor owners with remediation and adherence to security standards within defined processes.
What We Need From You
8+ years of relevant work experience.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent is a must.Passion, drive, and belief in the value of vulnerability management as an enabler of business performance.Familiarity with vulnerability scoring methods, vulnerability management tools and processes.Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and DevSecOps tools.Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and cloud concepts; experience with SAST and DAST scanning tools.Knowledge of a major public cloud ecosystem (Microsoft Azure preferred) and Azure security tooling.Knowledge of microarchitecture design in Azure and other cloud providers.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Nice-to-have
Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies.Experience with Agile development and DevOps.Experience building integrations to existing systems.Proficiency in RESTful applications, cloud technologies, and containers.Role and Compensation
For Spain, the base salary range is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 (full-time). The final salary depends on requirements, scope, complexity, responsibilities, and the candidate’s education, expertise, and experience. In addition to base salary, Swiss Re offers a performance-based variable compensation component and a variety of global and location-specific benefits. Eligibility may vary by Swiss Re policies and employment contract.
