Scopely is looking for a Senior Engineer, Systems & Tooling to serve on and elevate our casual game, Monopoly GO in Barcelona!

The Monopoly GO! team is one of our key franchises and has become one of Scopely’s largest games. The teams sit globally, with the bulk of their members located throughout Spain and the US.

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, cross-functional engineering role focused on building the systems, tools, and infrastructure that power creative and operational excellence — not gameplay.

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll take ownership of key technical components such as config validation, test automation, asset workflows, and Unity runtime systems. You’ll collaborate closely with QA, Tech Art, Engineering, and LiveOps teams to build high-quality tools and pipelines that improve speed, safety, and developer experience across the board.

• Develop Unity-based tools and systems that support production teams across the studio
• Build and maintain configuration validation systems (schemas, safety toggles, rollback)
• Create automation frameworks for runtime and editor testing
• Design and implement tools for QA, Tech Art, and Art teams : validators, previewers, asset ingestion
• Build runtime observability features to support diagnostics, crash tracking, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs and deliver impactful tooling
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture improvements
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team
