Opdenergy, a leading renewable energy producer, is seeking an experienced Energy Storage Market Analyst to join their team. This role will play a critical part in the company's growth and success in the energy storage market.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for studying global energy markets, preparing internal reports, executive briefings, and monitoring the global energy regulatory environment. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining revenue models for standalone energy storage and hybrid assets, analyzing global energy markets, including contract structures, price dynamics, revenues streams, and settlement mechanisms, monitoring the global regulatory and technological environment, and maintaining relationships with market consultants and evaluating their assumptions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in renewable energy sector with a focus on energy storage.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and VBA.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis and optimization.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Highly systematic and strategic mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments.
• Solid organizational skills and a focus on detail.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Energy, Advanced engineering, Renewable energy, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
