Origen.AI, an artificial intelligence startup focusing on the energy sector, is looking for a Front End Developer to join our team.

Origen.AI develops methods for modelling, simulation and optimization of complex systems, particularly systems involving physical properties. Our revolutionary technology accelerates simulations by up to 10,000x, opening up unprecedented opportunities across many different industries.

We are based in New York, with offices in Madrid and Sevilla, with some of our members working remotely.

Your daily routine at Origen.ai

You will work in the Platform team, developing the Frontend for Proteus, our SaaS client-facing platform.

A Project Manager will organize, with your aid and technical expertise, your tasks into sprints. You will always get direct assistance either from the Technical Lead or other team members.

You will assist our Research / Scientific team in making their cutting-edge algorithms easy to use for our customers, with a main focus on usability.

The position is fully remote; you will only have to come to the office from time to time. If you live in Madrid or Seville, most likely once a week or even less. In case you work in a city without an office, you may need to travel to Madrid occasionally.

What we Expect from You :

A minimum of 3+ years of front-end development experience.

Knowledge of modern JS frameworks, primarily React. Experience with other frameworks like Vue or Angular is a plus.

Good practices in code implementation and design.

Experience with code reviews and contributions to CI / CD projects.

Excellent English communication skills, capable of effective verbal and written communication with a globally distributed team.

Ability to build attractive layouts using HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive designs.

You can translate Zeplin, Invision, or Figma designs into functional, visually appealing interfaces.

Ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively within teams.

Willingness to suggest and engage in team collaborations to meet ambitious development goals.
