Over 12 months, you will work in our talent hub based in Valencia, gaining critical skills before transitioning into your next career step as Junior Solution Architect for IBM Z in Italy.
Your Role And Responsibilities As a Solution Architect you will be developing trusted relationships and working with clients and colleagues to shape the future of their technology landscape, advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the early phases of the sales cycle.
Assist our broader IBM Sales, Ecosystems and Delivery team in identifying up / cross-sell opportunities and help accelerate enterprises’ success by providing award-winning solutions across our Infrastructure Platform (IBM Z, IBM Power, Storage and Cloud).
Collaborate with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions aligned with clients’ goals; apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery and leverage consultative skills.
Engage in day-to-day activities such as problem-solving, hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation to support client challenges from design through implementation and operation.
Participate in technical solution workshops and build effective relationships at all levels—from engineers to CxOs.
Work with the team to understand clients’ main challenges and develop solutions that deliver true business value, including design, development, integration, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise Technical Education : Completed technical degree such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Communication and Language Skills : Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling and influential. English & Local Language proficiency requested.
Analytical Skills with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes.
Team player with a collaborative spirit, able to work across multiple functions and levels within IBM and partners.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience First experience with Sales and / or IT.
