Test Engineer High Voltage (HV)

As a High Voltage Test Engineer , you will be responsible for performing electrical tests and quality verifications on high-voltage cables, accessories, and related components.

Tasks

• Perform routine and type tests on HV cables, joints, and terminations up to 500 kV according to IEC and customer standards.
• Conduct insulation resistance, partial discharge, AC / DC withstand, and tan δ (loss factor) tests.
• Prepare and document detailed test reports and ensure traceability of all results.
• Operate and maintain high-voltage test equipment and measurement systems.
• Support R&D and production teams with prototype testing and technical investigations.
• Analyze test data, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure all tests comply with internal safety procedures and laboratory regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and test system upgrades.
