O&M Senior Specialist

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.

We are currently seeking an O&M Senior Specialist based in Madrid or Sevilla to support our ongoing and future projects.

What will you help with

Management and control of photovoltaic and wind farm portfolios.

Management and monitoring of corrective measures.

Monitoring and verification of alarms and incidents through SCADA.

Generation of reports with the main project KPIs.

Monitoring subcontractors and conducting regular inspections.

Periodic visits to plants.

Monitoring contractual obligations during the project operation phase.

Preparing annual operating budgets (P&L).

Coordinating with authorities and electricity companies.

Keeping up to date with environmental and legal measures.

Staying up to date on applicable technical regulations, tests, inspections and required certifications.

Establish strategies for production improvements, for improving spare parts and for improving availability.

Execution and standardization of contracts.

OPEX monitoring.

Who you are

Degree in Industrial, Electrical or similar. Master’s degree in Renewable Energy is a plus.

High level of English.

Experience in carrying out work on photovoltaic and / or wind power projects.

Proficiency in Office software, especially Excel.

Knowledge of PVSYST, Autocad, SCADA.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the functions described.

Knowledge of SCADA systems for the acquisition, management and analysis of technological system process data (SCADA, RTU, PLC, etc.).

Knowledge of communications systems (Satellite, FO, Wimax, etc.).
