Role Description
The Engineer will provide technical and operational support for Air Drilling Associates’ geothermal drilling project in Tenerife. This role involves assisting the engineering and operations teams in project planning, equipment performance monitoring, and field data reporting. The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to geothermal drilling technologies and field operations, while working in an international and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team in daily project operations and technical documentation.
- Assist in planning, monitoring, and evaluating geothermal drilling activities.
- Collect, analyze, and report operational data to ensure project efficiency and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with field and maintenance teams to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of project reports, equipment logs, and performance summaries.
- Participate in engineering meetings and provide input for process improvements.
- Learn and apply company procedures, safety standards, and quality practices in all operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of work experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Willing to learn geothermal drilling operations and work in field environments.Good communication skills with the ability to work in a multicultural team.Fluent in English (spoken & written).Must be a permanent resident of the Canary Islands (Tenerife).Must be legally eligible to work in Spain.
