Senior Debt Recovery Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Collection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credit management activities in Portugal, you will be responsible for managing portfolios, negotiating payment plans, and collaborating with debtors.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in debt recovery and negotiation with public or private counterparties, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. A proactive mindset and a focus on achieving KPIs are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities :

• Manage portfolio activities and collaborate with debtors
• Negotiate payment plans and send reminders to debtors
• Manage invoice status in the system and verify debtors' accounts
• Track exposure volume and collaborate with the internal legal unit
• Request probative documentation from clients and update information in the IT tool
• Manage retrocession payments from clients

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need :

Desirable Skills

Nice to have working experience in pharmaceutical / utilities / bank industry or lawyers working in NPL / debt recovery sector.
