Offshore Wind Project Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced site manager to oversee the execution of large-scale offshore wind projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVDC systems and comprehensive construction management, with experience leading on-site activities under FIDIC contractual frameworks.

This is a dynamic role that requires excellent leadership, decision-making, and multidisciplinary team management skills. The successful candidate will also possess in-depth knowledge of offshore structures, marine substations, and international technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate execution works on offshore platforms, substations, marine structures, and HVDC / AC cable installations.
• Supervise main contractors, subcontractors, and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Monitor physical progress on-site and lead technical closure.
• Guarantee technical execution in line with international regulations.
• Collaborate with commissioning and start-up teams.
• Provide regular project updates through executive reporting and meetings.

Requirements

A university degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial) is required, along with over 10 years of experience in leading construction works in the energy sector.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in HVDC systems, installation, testing, and commissioning, as well as strong experience in construction management under FIDIC contracts.

Additionally, they should possess fluency in English and be available for fieldwork, including offshore rotations if applicable.
