Role |

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Finance team reporting to our Legal Counsel. Your main role will be to understand the company’s strategy and the potential legal issues that may arise in all of our jurisdictions. For that, you will be creating from scratch processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance across the business. You don't need to be an expert in any specific field but you need to know what resources to use to make sure Ukio is fully compliant and best defends the interests of the company, its employees, the clients, the suppliers and the partners.

Responsibilities |

• Provide assistance to the internal team on dunning debtors.
• Review all contracts by the company to ensure Ukio’s interests are well defended.
• Review and suggest any modifications to any existing agreements to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guarantee Ukio’s protection.
• Make sure we comply with all the requirements by the corporate bylaws, shareholder and investment agreements and provide assistance in future capital raises.
• Guarantee the Ukio brand and the IP are well protected.
• Provide aid to tax efforts.
• Guarantee compliance with GDPR.
• Assistance to the main Legal counsel in coordinating certification of ISO, SOC 2, or any other that is necessary.
