Senior Housekeeping Manager

Overview As a senior housekeeping manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel's housekeeping department. You will work closely with the housekeeping director to coordinate and supervise the activities of our stateroom, public areas, and open decks.

Responsibilities

Cleanliness and Quality : Ensure that all rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and quality. Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Staff Management : Direct, coach, and evaluate the performance of your team members. Provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills.

Operational Efficiency : Manage the assignment of duties, responsibilities, and workstations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.

Guest Satisfaction : Collaborate with the housekeeping director to review guest comments and implement revisions to improve service and quality.

Communication : Communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests to ensure seamless operation and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need :

Leadership Experience : At least one to two years of supervisory experience in a similar environment, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort.

Cleaning Expertise : Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and equipment usage.

Customer Service Skills : Ability to provide excellent customer service and respond to guest concerns in a considerate and professional manner.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with guests and management.
