Descripción del trabajoEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Agroenvironmental Engineering, or related fields. Languages : Fluent Spanish and English. Other languages are highly valued (French, Portuguese, etc.). Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental management of renewable energy projects (wind farms, photovoltaic solar plants, hydrogen plants, storage systems, etc.). Additional knowledge : EIA processes, inception documents, environmental documents; Geographic Information Systems : Proficiency in GIS (ARCGIS, QGIS, or similar). Elawan Energy is a global operator in the renewable energy industry. We specialize in providing integrated solutions across the lifecycle of clean energy, from promotion and development to construction, operation, maintenance, and sale of generated energy. We are seeking a proactive Environmental Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Promotion : Support the promotion department regarding environmental and archaeological aspects of photovoltaic solar projects and wind farms (review ESIA reports, environmental documents, conduct environmental feasibility studies, etc.).
- Construction : Assist the construction department in environmental monitoring of projects, in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), specifically the Environmental Impact Study (PVA), and other environmental permits obtained during project processing.
- Operation and Maintenance : Support the O&M department in environmental monitoring of projects, following the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), specifically the Environmental Impact Study (PVA), and other environmental permits obtained during project processing.
- Management of EIA environmental measures : Implement and supervise compliance with preventive, corrective, and compensatory measures.
- Environmental Consultants : Manage, coordinate, and review environmental work contracted to external consulting firms.
Requirements and personal skills
knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
advanced level for Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
