Overview Climate Risk Analyst Position
We are seeking a skilled analyst to develop and implement methodologies for identifying, quantifying, and mitigating climate-related physical risks. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and scientific research. They will also be proficient in coding languages such as Python.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement climate risk models and methodologies
Collaborate with teams to quantify and mitigate physical climate risks
Contribute to the development of a library of climate hazard and vulnerability models
Provide advice and support for operational insertion activities
Qualifications
Strong academic background in physics, mathematics, quantitative finance, or similar
5+ years of experience in quantitative financial risk modeling, physical climate risk, or climate / environmental research
Strong coding skills and knowledge of statically compiled languages
