We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a European Market Product Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the European product line in collaboration with the Global team to achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our business. The role reports to the Director of Merchandising EMEA and offers flexibility to work from a home office or our Barcelona, Spain office.
Key Responsibilities : Market Expertise :
Develop deep knowledge of the European Cycling and Outdoor markets, including product offer, competition, distribution, and consumer behavior.
Conduct market surveys to understand consumer needs and preferences.
Benchmark competition to stay ahead in the market.
Participate in trade shows and events to showcase our products and build relationships with key accounts.
Lead retail tours across Europe to ensure our products are well-represented in-store.
Analyze sales data to inform product development and pricing strategies.
Product Lifecycle Management :
Range management from brief to market introduction.
Category development aligned with global brand strategy and financial targets.
Briefing collections with Global Merchandisers (market needs, product feedback, segmentation, design review).
Participation in product meetings at Revelyst Global HQ USA.
Definition of line lists (assortments, prices, margins).
Support operation departments in piloting ranges (line list, planning, purchases...).
Support marketing department in catalog and marketing support developments.
Customer service support for cycling-related questions.
Cross-departmental information flow internally and between Europe and USA.
Internal product training provision.
Go To Market : Product presentation to sales forces, distributors, and key accounts.
Customer service support for technical requests (BtoB & BtoC).
Marketing department support for GTM actions (press events, trade shows...).
Requirements : Degree in Business or Design.
Cycling practice and passion.
First experience in bike industry.
Excellent communication skills (product presentation, international meetings).
Able to analyze and configure market and business reports.
High level English, additional languages a plus.
Frequent travel in Europe and United States.
Organized, structured, team worker.
Ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes stressful, team-oriented environment.
