Purpose of Position
As Awin’s Senior Product Manager - Data, you’ll take the lead in shaping, developing, and optimising our data products and services. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our data platforms, insights, and tools continually evolve to meet the dynamic needs of our clients and internal teams, empowering smarter decision-making and driving sustainable business growth.
The role involves close collaboration with data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and product managers across the organisation to define priorities, manage delivery, and drive the strategic use of data.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for data capabilities across Awin, including data platforms, analytics tools, and data integrations
- Translate complex business and user needs into clear product requirements and delivery priorities
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to define and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality data products
- Ensure Awin’s data capabilities support personalisation, reporting, automation, and internal decision-making
- Champion data governance, quality, and accessibility across teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities and align data initiatives with broader business goals
Qualifications
5+ years proven experience in product management roles focused on data, analytics, or data platformsStrong understanding of data lifecycle management and data product deliveryExperience working closely with data engineers, analysts, and technical stakeholdersFamiliarity with GDPR and data privacy best practices in a digital business contextComfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problemsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into executionA collaborative, pragmatic, and outcome-focused approachIdeally scrum certified product owner or equivalent (expired is acceptable)Working knowledge of SQL and data modelling conceptsExperience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau)Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or AWS RedshiftUnderstanding of modern data architecture and APIsOur Offer
