Voragine Game Studio is a videogame company based in Madrid, whose team is composed of developers experienced in the industry.

After a successful crowdfunding campaign, we are currently developing our first title Eden''''s Guardian, a pixel-art 2D metroidvania and we''''re looking for passionate developers to help us realize our vision.

The subject of the email must be : Application - Environment Pixel Artist and please attach there your curriculum, cover letter (optional) and portfolio.

3+ years of experience as a pixel artist in small or mid-sized teams or freelance jobs (portfolio required).
Good adaptability to a defined visual style and ability to work with art guidelines.
Ability to interpret concept art and smoothly translate it into pixel art.
Knowledge of Color theory.
Knowledge of Aseprite.
Knowledge of Photoshop.

Desired requirements

Knowledge of 2D animation in pixel art.

Experience with Unity.

Familiarity with retro or indie-style games.

English fluency.

Spanish speaker.

Duties

To design and render detailed environments and backgrounds (tile-based and full scenes).

To create a wide range of props that integrate naturally into the environment.

To create UI and interactive visual elements.

Permanent, full-time contract.

Flexible working hours (within a range).

Relaxed work environment : no clients, no unreasonable deadlines, no crunch time, etc.

An ambitious project with an established visual style and active development.

Potential for ongoing work on this or future projects.
