Responsibilities
- Focus on cutting procurement expenses to enable investment in growth and people, and improve the company for your Procurement Category through local strategy definition and implementation, regional and local synergies, development of category knowledge, process optimization, and total cost of ownership optimization.
- Report to Procurement Manager France & Iberia and be responsible for the following areas : Strategy, Sourcing, Negotiation, Contract Management, Stakeholder Management, Troubleshooting, and Database Management.
- Strategy : Develop information related to suppliers in your panel to elaborate and monitor the category strategy. Lead and execute procurement strategies for the suppliers panel, develop, promote, globalize, or substitute as needed. Further develop the category strategy, risk management and reverse engineering to understand supply cost structure and supplier development. Install KPIs at all levels to monitor implementation. Support business development activities and cross-functional purchasing projects. Set up state-of-the-art purchasing standards to implement the procurement category strategy.
- Sourcing : Initiate and lead regional sourcing to meet objectives of capacity, quality, price, time, service, reliability, financial health, and technical backup. Identify and source new suppliers and launch calls for tenders.
- Negotiation : Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Contract Management : Develop, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts and agreements.
- Stakeholders Management : Support plant project teams in the assignment process and forward sourcing monitoring. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Troubleshooting : Address cost, quality, and delivery concerns and resolve supplier–plant problems.
- Database Management : Establish and update an approved supplier panel and create a centralized database for the procurement category, including price updates when possible.
Qualifications
