Lead Product Manager, Acquiring at Monzo Bank.
We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. Monzo offers a range of banking products in the UK and beyond, including personal and business accounts, joint accounts, student accounts, a kids account, and cards. We aim to solve problems and change lives through Monzo, with a focus on helping businesses get paid and delivering a delightful card payments experience for customers.
Location and working model : Barcelona, Spain; Hybrid model : 3 days a week in the office. Open to experience with stock options & benefits.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead one or more cross-functional teams to define and deliver a new Acquiring product that helps small business customers accept card payments, and their customers have a seamless experience.
- Build product strategy and value propositions, payments capabilities, user experiences, and support structures needed to help businesses get paid.
- From idea to launch drive the product from nothing to launch and then grow it, aligning with Monzo’s Business Banking offering.
- Collaborate across teams (design, engineering, research, data science, product marketing, compliance, external partners) to refine and execute the strategy.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sharing the product vision and context at the right time.
- Launch, iterate, and measure impact with a data- and customer-centric approach, delivering iterative improvements.
You should apply if
You are a seasoned product manager with experience shipping world-class products from 0 to launch at a fast-growing company.You have led card or payments products for business customers that delivered significant value.You can systematically break down and solve complex problems using data, customer insights and creativity to set a long-term vision and deliver outcomes iteratively.You have good judgement and a track record of making sound decisions in complex scenarios with no obvious right answer.You are creative, eager to improve the status quo, and can inspire novel ideas within your team.You are data-driven and have collaborated with machine learning or data science teams to define metrics, run experiments, and deliver impact.You can work effectively with diverse colleagues across engineering, design, data, research, marketing, legal and compliance.You are a strong storyteller who can motivate and energise others toward a common goal.You are passionate about creating customer value and aligned with Monzo’s mission; you rely on data to measure performance and strive for improvement.You are a fast learner, humble, curious, and enjoy sharing knowledge.The interview process
