A highly skilled data analyst is required to contribute to a groundbreaking project focused on understanding and treating Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) through cutting-edge multi-omics research.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Analysis : Design, develop, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, and proteomic data
- Data Integration : Integrate genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic data, including DNA variants, RNA expression, splicing, and methylation profiles
- Patient Stratification : Contribute to variant prioritization and patient stratification through multi-omics data interpretation
Requirements :
PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related fieldNGS Data Expertise : Proficiency in NGS data processing and analysis (>5 years)
Sequencing Data Experience : Experience in short-read and long-read WGS data analysis, RNA-seq, and methylation analysisProgramming Skills : Strong programming skills (e.g., R, Python) and familiarity with HPC environmentsResearch Interest : Interest in neurodegenerative diseases and translational researchTeamwork : Teamwork and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment
