We are currently seeking a Site Quality Engineer to to join our team based in Madrid, but with availability to spend long periods of time abroad on Site.
As a Site Quality Engineer you will be in charge of the implementation and monitoring of the quality management system in a project or construction site, ensuring pro-active quality support to meet client and quality requirements.
To lead, develop and implement small project-wide system audits and quality plans as validated by the line manager.
To report progress and handle inquiries and issues with the Client quality representatives.
To promotes a Quality culture on the project / site, ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems.
To participate actively in the risk assessment workshops on the project.
To assists in the definition of project objectives and metrics (KPI), analyze performance, propose corrective actions.
To lead or participate in investigations to resolve quality issues.
May facilitate the feedback process throughout the construction phase and may assist in the development and approval of site procedures, QCP's and ITP's
You have a bachelor's degree in industrial, Chemical or Materials Engineering. A master's degree in a Quality-related field will be a plus.
You have 2-3 years of experience as a QA / QC Specialist.
Experience in Site working on the setting of the system (elaboration of procedures, elaboration of ITPs (inspection test plan), follow-up of construction contracts from a QC point of view (contractual charts, KPIs follow-up, periodic reporting...).
You are fluent in English (at least C1).
Knowledge or experience in Regulatory Compliance will be highly valued, ideally in Chemicals, Oil & Gas industry and Blue & Green energy generation projects.
Desirable : familiar with Project Certification Plant and working knowledge of EU Directives (PED, Welding, NDT's and Machine, ATEX,...).
