Role Overview :

As a senior data specialist, you will collaborate with our team of experts to design, build, and maintain high-performance data pipelines that power real-time decision-making in the global markets.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and scale complex data architectures and infrastructure to support investment research and analysis

Collaborate closely with quants, data scientists, and portfolio managers to drive data-driven strategies

Design, implement, and maintain efficient data processing workflows using Spark, Airflow, and related tools

Implement robust data modeling, ETL, and data architecture principles to ensure data integrity and scalability

Work effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and tight deadlines

Requirements :

At least 3 years of experience in building and scaling data pipelines and infrastructure, preferably in finance or big tech

Degree from a top-tier university (STEM focus preferred)

Strong Python and SQL skills, with familiarity with Spark, Airflow, and related data tools

Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data architecture principles

Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with multiple priorities and tight deadlines

Nice to Have :

Experience working with time-series data and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Familiarity with data lake / data warehouse technologies and real-time data processing frameworks (e.G., Kafka, Flink)

Contributions to open-source data engineering projects or tooling development
