Sales Manager (Europe)
We are currently managing a confidential search for a Sales Manager to lead business development and client growth across the European region for a global market leader in specialist solutions.
The Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth, retaining and developing client accounts, and identifying new business opportunities across Europe. In addition, you will manage and develop the European sales team , providing leadership, guidance, and performance management to ensure delivery of regional sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the European sales team , ensuring delivery of sales targets and professional development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Generate new business opportunities and manage the sales process from enquiry through to order.
- Implement and deliver against the Regional Sales Plan.
- Conduct market segmentation and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor performance against targets and develop corrective actions where required.
- Apply best practice in Key Account Management to strengthen client partnerships.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure customer needs are fully supported.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, or Marketing preferred).8 +years of experience in industrial B2B technical sales .Proven experience leading and managing a sales team .Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.Fluent in English; additional European languages an advantage.Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.Strong understanding of sales, supply chain, and customer service processes.The Offer
