Overview
We are transforming patient experience in clinical studies. IQVIA is a leading global provider of scientific services spanning clinical trials, real world evidence, consulting and technology. Our Patient Centered Solutions - Implementation (PCS-I) team addresses critical industry gaps in electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) implementation to encourage adoption and success. Our eCOA subject matter experts partner with Sponsors and eCOA vendors to implement proactive science-based eCOA strategies to ensure success in collection of COA endpoints in clinical trials and improved patient experience.
We are part of the broader Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) portfolio that leads the industry in COA and patient reported outcome (PRO) knowledge. The PCS-I team collaborates with colleagues across scientific, behavioral and technology disciplines to drive innovation in study retention, endpoint compliance and patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end implementation of electronic COAs in clinical trials, adhering to protocol-specific, science-backed best practices to improve compliance and data quality.
- Support a variety of projects with a balance of research and implementation.
- Work with a team of subject matter experts to create high-impact reports and deliverables, including User Acceptance Testing, end-user training and monitoring of patient experience data with support from experienced team leaders.
- Contribute to projects or IQVIA initiatives to generate insights and develop client or executive leadership reports.
- Assist with business development and proposals.
Qualifications
Proven analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills.Interest in patient-centered research topics (e.g., Clinical Outcome Assessment, Patient-Reported Outcome, electronic implementation).Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to build credibility with external and internal contacts.Good commercial awareness and business judgment with an interest in healthcare / life sciences.Strong IT literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and good time management and organizational skills.Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within timelines; readiness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Experience working in cross-cultural contexts; comfort interfacing with global teams and clients.Education and Experience
An academic degree in a relevant field (public health, psychology, health economics, healthcare technology, engineering or similar).At least 2 years of experience in consulting or research within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry, or a PhD in a relevant field.Experience in pharma R&D, RWE, and / or patient digital technology.Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, apply new knowledge, and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.Strong ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and produce high-quality outcomes.Important
