Chief Data Officer

Our global team of 2,500 staff and experts work in over 90 countries to solve complex problems in the peacebuilding, governance, economic development, environment, and human development sectors. The Expert Center is in the Operations Support Division and is in charge of the experts’ database and their certification for the company’s business opportunities (technical assistance projects funded by the EU and other donors).

This includes managing, evaluating, analyzing, and presenting documentation to ensure compliance with legal and administrative requirements from various donors, such as the European Union, World Bank, Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, European Investment Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, African Development Bank, French Development Agency, and Millennium Challenge Corporation, among others.

Support the management and maintenance of the company’s expert database, ensuring full compliance with GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016 / 679). Help manage the company’s CV mailbox to ensure thorough oversight and enrichment of the database. Regularly prepare statistical monitoring reports and manage expert distribution lists.

Support in publishing expert vacancies across various international cooperation platforms to attract suitable candidates for relevant projects.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF management tools.

Proven experience in managing large databases, including data entry, updates, and comprehensive reporting.

Strong ability to generate regular reports and analyze data with precision and efficiency.

Proficiency in English language (both written and spoken) is essential.

Proficiency in French will be considered an asset.

General professional experience :

Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on precision in document management, data entry, and reporting. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
