Financial Controller

Job Description Our multinational company based in Madrid is seeking a qualified professional for a Finance Reporting role. The ideal candidate will have :

5-7 years of experience in a similar position within a multinational company.

Desirable previous experience in Big4 firms and a high level of English proficiency.

Responsibilities Ensuring timely and accurate finance reporting and ad hoc deliverables to the Group with flawless data quality.

Owning the Budgeting and Forecasting processes for designated fiscal entities.

Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and collaborating with the Head of Reporting & FPA to submit accurate accounts to the Group, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Analyzing performance and business trends, preparing the Spain Reporting Pack, explaining variances, and providing insights to management and senior leadership.

Assisting in cost-saving initiatives, particularly in data gathering and processing.

Communicating results effectively to department heads and managers, maintaining close relationships and exchanging relevant information.

Collaborating with the transactional accounting team to ensure segregation of duties and process controls.

Supporting the transition of acquired businesses to group accounting policies.

Participating in Balance Sheet reviews.

Salary package : Around €50,000 - €55,000 fixed salary plus bonus. Final offer depends on demonstrated experience. Opportunities for growth and development. The role offers a hybrid workplace model, allowing you to work from home 2 days a week. Location : Madrid. Managed by : Pedro García.
