Responsibilities

• Bid Management : They oversee the entire process from identifying opportunities, creating proposals, to final bid submission.
• Cross-functional Coordination : They work closely with various teams within the organization such as sales, finance, legal, and technical departments to compile necessary details for the bid.
• Proposal Development : They are responsible for the creation of compelling and compliant proposals that align with Thales's capabilities and respond accurately to the prospective client's requirements.
• Risk Assessment : They conduct a thorough risk analysis of potential projects and come up with mitigation strategies, ensuring these are integrated into the bidding process.
• Client Relationship : They are often the point of contact for clients during the bid process, managing queries, negotiating contract terms, and working diligently to secure the contract.
• Process Improvement : They are expected to continuously improve the bid process based on feedback from failed and successful bids to increase the success rate in the future.

As part of the Bids & Projects Team you will contribute to the acquisition of new projects. The qualifications for a Bid Manager typically vary depending on the industry and nature of the organization, but the following are often considered important :
