Descripción del trabajoCoordination of project interface with standard drawing management systems. Receipt and issue of drawings, document(s) and transmittals – internal and external. Ensuring that arrangements are in place with suppliers and vendors to ensure the efficient capture of certification and documentation. Registration of documents. Scanning of documents. Operation of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Train others on operation of Electronic Quality checking of process and document control within Project Area. Management of interfaces with vendors, suppliers and 3rd party service providers with respect to the document control function on a project. Take steps to ensure that the identity and perception of the department are always protected. Act as an ambassador for client's policies, values and culture to other teams and individuals within the company. Demonstrate a high-level awareness of the technical competencies in your teams' area of responsibility. An understanding of the business needs that drive the business areas activities. Knowledge of and experience in the operation and maintenance of standard electronic document management systems. Experience of working within a Project site environment is desirable . Description
The Document Controller is responsible for the management and control of project / business documents and records using the agreed process.
- Ensuring that the Project Team operates in accordance with set project processes and procedures.
- Work with fellow Document Controllers to maximise on the benefit of overall Team skills and ensure that a resilient service is provided to individual Project Areas.
- Guide colleagues undertaking document control tasks and assist with their development through coaching, mentoring and training.
- Coordinate the Document Control activity in a Project Area and where necessary request any resources, skills and facilities that are required to ensure the quality of records.
- Support the development and maintenance of systems and procedures that will enhance document control.
