Social Commerce Data Sr Analyst

Mission

The Social Commerce Data Senior Analyst will play a key role in integrating data-driven decision-making within SAMY’s global Social Commerce practice. Reporting globally to the Head of Social Commerce and in dotted line to the Global Data Director, this role ensures analytical excellence and methodological alignment across all markets, connecting marketing, eCommerce, and social performance data to deliver actionable insights that drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, analyze, and interpret data from social commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop, Meta, and Amazon to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Design and implement measurement models to assess creator efficiency, conversion performance, attribution, and brand or conversion lift across campaigns.
• Develop and maintain global dashboards tracking core KPIs including GMV, AOV, CTR, CR, ROI, and CAC, ensuring consistency across regions.
• Conduct desk research and category benchmarking using internal and external data sources such as Sprinklr, Fastmoss, Kalo Data, Shinebuzz, social listening tools and research tools.
• Partner closely with Strategists, Growth Managers, and Local Leads to translate data insights into business recommendations that enhance client strategy and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with the Global Data team to ensure methodology consistency, data governance, and automation standards across the organization.
• Support the continuous evolution of the Data x Social Commerce Suite, integrating new tools and models to improve measurement, reporting, and predictive capabilities.
