• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate business requirements into specifications and design
• , as well as perform, the required functional and non-functional tests before releasing the
• software
• (develop, test, and deploy custom applications and software solutions).
• Analyze deficiencies or possible technical or process-related enhancements and propose adequate solutions to fill the gaps and improve existing applications (Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications).
• Verify change requests, specify the software requirements, make the required modifications in the respective applications, test and document these changes.
• Participate in the activities (planning as well as execution) in cooperation with the teams in Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain and Malaysia.
• Be part of a programming group and work in an agile environment (Jira sprints)
• Document developments for involved stakeholders
• KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in
• software engineering,
• Computer Science,
• Information Technology, or
• related field.
• Experience in a software development environment
• Practical experience in object orientated programming technologies (e.g.
• C++, C#, Java etc.)
• Practical experience in Microsoft programming technologies (
• mainly Visual Basic 6)
• Good knowledge of and experience with relational database design and
• familiar with software deployment methods
• Basic analytical skills to translate business processes into technical solutions
• Consultative attitude to guide the business to formalize business processes and requirements
• Well organized, constructive, and committed work as well as team spirit and strong communication skills
• Action and results oriented personality with ability in a matrix organization
• Fluent in English; German or French is an advantage
