About the Job
MISSION
As a member of the ADMt team of CIBITSpain, serving as IT Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to analyze business needs within functional domains and provide sustainable solutions that align with strategic plans and requests, ensuring compliance with BNP Paribas standards and policies.
Responsibilities
Understand and analyze the needs of the Business related to one or more functional domains, aiming to enhance the IS with appropriate and sustainable solutions in line with the entity's strategic plan.
Handle demands from different stakeholders on several topics and contribute to preliminary studies with the business.
Participate in monitoring the portfolio and prioritizing requests in their scope.
Clarify, analyze critically, and challenge the need expressed by the Business regarding the entity's strategic plan.
Create business cases including alternatives and design practical solutions within the budget and technical constraints.
Ensure that the solution is compatible with the requirements derived from the Business's needs.
Formalize the statement of requirements and have it validated by the Business.
Define, formalize and request validation of requirements related to the need with the contributors involved, in compliance with the entity's applicable practices.
Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure a correct solution.
Create test plans and define entry / exit criteria for each test.
Execute system testing, record all results, and provide input for defect prioritization.
Support users in acceptance tests (UAT) and develop user training requirements, conducting training where needed.
Contribute with the Business to change management activities and deployment for the end customer.
Help identify Business impacts caused by the solution and prepare action plans.
Provide level 3 production support when needed.
Manage projects and initiatives in the scope, engaging and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Participate and contribute to team catch‐ups, reviews, retrospectives, progress updates and planning forums.
Create project schedules and maintain realistic project plans, including risks, issues, and interdependencies.
Set the project budget and manage any deviations on time.
Report project status proactively to management, sponsors and stakeholders, running steering committees.
Escalate issues requiring support from line management and sponsors.
Ensure that tests are carried out at each initiative or project.
Manage vendors for third‐party system implementation.
Close the project in a controlled manner, communicate learnings, provide final budget versus actual status, and ensure handover to production support teams.
Qualifications
Studies : Bachelor's in Economics, Business Administration or related field.
Ideally, 6–8 years of experience, specialized in the design and maintenance of applications.
Solid experience across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production rollout.
Project management experience.
Experience in task prioritization and guidance for development teams and users.
Language Requirements
Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French or any other European language is a plus.
Skills
Strong IT general knowledge.
Data knowledge.
Software architecture.
IT tests definition and execution.
SQL relational database experience.
Knowledge of Agile and Product Owner methodologies (Scrum).
Client‐oriented, with strong creativity and innovation skills.
Analytical ability, synthesis, project management, client focus, process adaptation, collaboration, and teamwork.
