We’re looking for talented technical professionals to join our teams on permanent contracts. You’ll be grouped into a team and commit to the installation of at least two proton therapy units at different locations.

Locations include Santiago de Compostela, San Sebastian, Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Madrid (La Paz and Fuenlabrada), Valencia, and Gran Canaria.

Mission You play a key role in our mission to treat patients and fight cancer! As Hardware Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installation, calibration, and commissioning activities on the Proton Therapy Centre, focusing on electromechanical equipment.

During the Ortega project, you may be responsible for 2 or 3 installations in a row. A training period is planned before the first installation, based in Fuenlabrada, expected to be completed within 12 months starting December 2025. The start date may be adjusted as needed.

Our HR team will support your relocation to your subsequent locations.

Responsibilities Participate in the installation of IBA equipment on the Proton Therapy site, including all electro-mechanical sub-systems.

Test, calibrate, and validate equipment to meet specifications and customer requirements.

Analyze data to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Collaborate with subcontractors during installation and commissioning until start-up.

Ensure the highest quality standards for technologies and services.

Qualifications and Skills Qualifications in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience in electrical cabling, system troubleshooting, and mechanical systems installation.

Knowledge of cooling, vacuum systems, control units, sensors, motors, and high / low voltage equipment.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Proficiency in English; Spanish is an asset.

Knowledge of local EHS regulations.

Personal Attributes Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.

Conscientious, organized, and capable of producing quality reports.

Analytical with good root cause analysis skills.

Willingness to share knowledge and work in a team.

Willing to travel extensively, including working in shifts, nights, and weekends (up to 50%).
