As a sponsor of Vfl Wolfsburg and due to the opening of our new production site in Serbia, we are constantly expanding our brand presence in the European market.We are seeking a proactive and organised Workshop Manager (m / f / d) to oversee all aspects of our workshop operations in Santa Oliva, Spain. This position will manage a team of technicians, ensure the smooth execution of testing activities, and maintain high standards of efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires excellent coordination skills, strong supplier communication, and occasional travel across Europe to support testing activities on-site.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and supervise all workshop activities to ensure optimal performance and workflow.Lead, motivate, and manage a small team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.Communicate effectively with suppliers to secure the necessary manpower, equipment, and materials.Develop, implement, and continuously improve workshop procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.Oversee the scheduling and execution of all test activities, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum effectiveness.Manage inventory levels, monitor stock usage, and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless operations.Control workshop budgets, monitor expenditures, and manage procurement of consumables responsibly.Work closely with the purchasing manager to identify, source, and procure required test materials.Organise, receive, and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment.Assist in the development and preparation of comprehensive test plans and schedules.Provide hands-on technical support in the workshop when necessary.Ensure all vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained and operated to the highest standard.Travel to various sites across Europe to support and coordinate testing activities as needed.QualificationsProven experience in workshop coordination or a similar role within an automotive or technical environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Good level of spoken and written Spanish and English is essential.Ability to travel within Europe as required.Hands-on technical skills and a willingness to assist on the workshop floor when necessary.Previous experience with objective testing and the ability to speak German is a plus.What we offerUnlimited ContractPerformance BonusAn amazing open minded and international teamBeing part of the success of an international growing brandOpportunity for professional and personal growth
