In ARQUIMEA SPACE develops spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers . We specialize in thermal control systems, structural panels, optical payloads, avionics, release and deployment mechanisms, and rad-hard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide high-throughput smallsats and their subsystems . Our brand-new factory in Madrid is suited to integrate satellites and constellations .

We are looking for a Spacecraft Systems Engineer  with the mission of taking responsability for the design, development, integration, and validation of satellite systems. This includes leading the design and verification of critical subsystems such as :

• EPS (Electrical Power Subsystem)
• Propulsion
• Onboard Data Handling (OBDH)
• AOCS (Attitude and Orbit Control System)
• Communication and TT&C systems
• Associated sensors and actuators

Tasks to be performed :

Lead the design interdisciplinary coherence, development , and verification of :

Perform trade-off analyses, simulations, and optimization

of mass, power, cost, and performance at system level.

The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the overall spacecraft architecture meets mission and operational requirements.

The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).

The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.
