The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team seeks a Senior Applied Scientist with strong deep learning background to build Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technology using Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the development of GenAI algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art in LLMs.
• Work with talented peers to impact our customers through products and services that use speech and language technology.
• Leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large‑scale computing resources to accelerate advances in GenAI.

The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
