Sales Manager – Spain, France, Italy & Middle East (Remote)

Says Who is a Danish design studio specialized in Scandinavian furniture design. We collaborate with major retailers and manufacturers worldwide to create collections that combine form, function, and craftsmanship. Our partners include leading names in the European and global furniture industry.

The Role

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Manager to strengthen our partnerships and develop new business opportunities in Spain, France, Italy, and the Middle East .

You will be responsible for managing key retail clients, developing new relationships, and working closely with our design team to deliver great products and strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new client relationships within key retail markets
  • Manage and grow existing retail partnerships through proactive engagement
  • Collaborate with the Says Who design and engineering teams on product development projects
  • Participate in international trade fairs, client meetings, and factory visits (approx. 70 travel days per year)
  • Contribute to the company’s strategic growth plans and market insights

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales experience within the furniture or interior design industry
  • Established network or deep understanding of retailers in Spain, France, Italy, or the Middle East
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Experience with product development or design collaboration is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and at least one regional language (Spanish, French, or Italian)
  • Self-driven, structured, and result-oriented mindset

  • Remote — based in Portugal or Spain
  • Employment Type : Full-time
  • Compensation : EUR 2,000–4,000 / month (fixed + performance bonus)
  • Travel : Approx. 70 days annually

    The Spain and Portugal region continues to be a huge market in 2025 and beyond, and with a growing team already, this is an exciting growth phase for the business hence we require a dynamic and commercially‑ minded professional to help boost and grow the market share they already have.

    Location : 06080 Badajoz, Extremadura

  • Your Duties

  • Facilitate in executing the regional sale business plan in Iberia
  • Staying close to market activities and trends to evaluate sales strategy in Spain and Portugal
  • Keep abreast of solar market, suggest and pursue sale opportunities in region
  • Continually establish and develop business relationships with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs / Developers, as well as Utilities and working with smaller installers to pull sales and business through.
  • Carry out and coordinate pre‑sales activities, and win large, multi‑MW deals for equipment supply
  • Create sales and technical quotations for clients
  • Forge business relationships with new clients and negotiate and close terms
  • Lead, develop and expand a team of top‑class sales professionals
  • Actively extend your personal and professional solar PV network with relevant partners in the solar and PV market : funders, consultants, and developers
  • Possess a complete knowledge of the solutions and be a brand advocate
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • Hold a technical disciplined degree : Energy, Power, Electronics, Engineering alike
  • Possess a minimum of 7 years technical sales and commercial leadership experience with the Iberia Solar PV market
  • Must be able to demonstrate a good track record of sales target achievement, understanding of how to grow market share
  • A strong knowledge of the solar and photovoltaic technology array
  • Direct experience in sales management with distributors and installers
  • A strong foundation network with EPCs, Developers and funders
  • A great technical aptitude, ability to process technical information and present or explain to clients
  • Must have fluent language ability in Spanish
  • Must be flexible, willing to travel across the region
  • Show an engaging and charismatic character
  • Ability to close deals and business negotiationsHave a business-forward and hunter type nature
  • Most be highly motivated and an independent work
  • Able to work in a rapid, high‑pressure, and international environment
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Regional Sales Manager – Dealcoholisation & Aroma Recovery (Wine & Spirits Market Iberia)

    About the role

    The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing sales of Dealcoholisation and Aroma recovery solution services specialized for the wine and spirits production sector. The primary goal will be to acquire new clients, maintain and build on the existing client portfolio, and ensure excellent post‑sales service, contributing to the company’s growth and positioning in this specific industry.

    Responsibilities

  • Prospecting New Clients : Identify and contact potential clients within the viticulture and spirits production sectors (wineries, distilleries, etc.), offering our dealcoholisation solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Client Portfolio Management : Maintain and build relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and seeking opportunities for additional sales or upgrades to the service.
  • Advisory and Consulting : Provide technical and commercial advice about the process and go‑to‑market products and solutions, adapting proposals to the specific needs of each client.
  • Proposal Preparation and Negotiation : Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate prices, timelines, and terms of sale.
  • Project Follow-up : Assist clients throughout the entire developing process, from developing, through decision‑making to produce dealcoholized wines or spirits.
  • Sales Visits : Conduct visits to clients and prospects, participate in trade shows, events, and industry conferences to establish commercial relationships and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Market Analysis : Analyse the market and competitors to detect new business opportunities and possible improvements in the product offerings.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams and Strategic Partners : Work closely with the technical team, follow up frequently with our own production or strategic partners, and collaborate with after‑sales teams to ensure the correct implementation of the offered solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience : Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales of services, equipment, or ingredients in the wine, spirits Iberian market.
  • Technical Knowledge : Technical knowledge of production processes in wineries or distilleries is highly valued.
  • Sales Skills : Strong and effective communication skills, high level of customer service care, good negotiation skills and results‑oriented mindset.
  • Relationship and Networking Ability : Ability to build long‑lasting client relationships and maintain a strong network within the industry.
  • Willingness to Travel : The position requires both national and international travel, so flexibility is essential.
  • Languages : Knowledge of languages especially Spanish and English required, Portuguese is a plus.
