We hold a portfolio of more than 1400 products from mainstream and independent brands and serve clients in 33 European countries. We aim to support food service and retail businesses and provide access to top-quality authentic Mexican and American products in the European market at the best price and become the benchmark for international food distribution in Europe.

What would be your job with us?

As we have been growing very fast within the last year, we are in the process of building a new Accounting structure and would love your help within our Collections section. That would include :

  • Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
  • Manage month end aged debt reporting and be involved with big debtors situations
  • Coordinate with “CFO” account receivables metrics
  • Deal with escalated or unresolved cases for account receivables
  • Define receivables and payment terms policies and processes
  • Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure credit limits are set and maintained and decide on credit risks and policies
  • Manage legal process and act as first point of contact for the Solicitors and our insurance company, also external debt recovery agencies and factoring services
  • Complete bad debt provision for the group
  • Manage and report intracompany debts
  • KPI analysis for Receivables
  • Supervising one Analyst

Why would you be a match for us?

  • Ideally you have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with at least two to four years experience in debt recovery or management
  • Experience with intracompany and international debtors
  • Hands-on person, who can work independently
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Good business acumen for problem solving
  • Positive can-do attitude when it comes to delivering business change
  • Experience in delivering process improvements initiatives preferably within Distribution Sector
  • Working with Excel on an advanced level comes easily to you and with CRMs programs like Shopify
  • Fluent in English AND German
