License Management & Compliance Consultant – Customer Engagement

Job Purpose
- The License Analysis Consultant is the primary customer-facing representative responsible for managing and guiding software license analysis engagements. This role emphasizes stakeholder communication, engagement coordination, and information gathering. All technical assessments and licensing evaluations are handled by specialized global teams;
the Consultant ensures the engagement progresses smoothly and in line with compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement Management - Serve as the lead contact for customers throughout the analysis process.Client Engagement Management - Clearly explain engagement scope, objectives, timelines, and client obligations.Client Engagement Management - Address client questions or concerns and support positive relationship management.Project Coordination - Plan and facilitate kick-off and validation calls.Project Coordination - Monitor timelines and ensure on-time submission of documentation and technical data.Project Coordination - Coordinate internal stakeholders to align on deliverables and dependencies.Information Gathering - Conduct structured client interviews to collect deployment and usage details.Information Gathering - Document client-provided information for compliance analysis and reporting.Information Gathering - Request clarifications and additional data as needed based on technical team input.Escalation and Communication - Identify potential issues, delays, or non-responsiveness and escalate appropriately.Escalation and Communication - Communicate technical follow-ups and licensing clarifications provided by internal teams.Escalation and Communication - Ensure transparent, professional, and timely client correspondence.Documentation and Handover - Draft accurate summaries of client calls and interactions.Documentation and Handover - Ensure all information is recorded and stored according to internal compliance standards.Documentation and Handover - Support the finalization and closure of engagements with a clear client-facing summary.Required Skills and Experience
Experience - 3+ years in client-facing roles within compliance, consulting, project management, or IT services.Experience - Proven ability to manage engagements with enterprise-level customers across various industries.Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder briefing and report writing.Organization - Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail.Language - Fluency in English (minimum C1 / Full Professional Proficiency) is mandatory.Multitasking - Ability to manage multiple engagements in parallel while maintaining quality and deadlines.Preferred Qualifications
Languages - Additional language skills (e.G., Spanish, French, German, Italian, or others) are a significant advantage.Knowledge - Familiarity with software license analysis processes or software asset management frameworks.Experience - Experience working with global, cross-functional teams in legal, technical, or compliance contexts.Understanding - Understanding of enterprise IT environments, deployment models, and virtualization concepts.Seniority level
