Overview Account Executive Spain (m / f / d) at Thinkproject
We are looking for an Account Executive to monitor the IBERIA Market from Madrid. You will expand our footprint in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America, identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities across the construction asset lifecycle, from design and build to operation. You will work with the Regional Head of Business Development and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers in the AEC and infrastructure industries.
Key Responsibilities Sales execution : Develop and manage a sales pipeline across Iberia & LATAM, focusing on high-potential accounts in AEC, real estate, and infrastructure.
Prospecting : Conduct cold outreach, referrals, inbound qualification, and events.
Client meetings and product demos : Focus on client pain points and Thinkproject’s lifecycle-driven value proposition.
Proposals and closing : Prepare and present tailored proposals and close deals with mid- and large-size enterprises.
Activity tracking : Track and report sales activities via CRM and align with team goals and KPIs.
Client Understanding & Relationship Building : Understand project lifecycles and workflows across the construction value chain (design, build, handover, operation).
Relationship development : Build trust with decision-makers such as project managers, engineers, BIM managers, and digital leads.
Onboarding and retention : Collaborate with Customer Success for smooth onboarding and long-term client retention.
Internal Collaboration : Provide client and market insights to product, marketing, and leadership teams.
Knowledge sharing : Participate in team knowledge sharing, weekly reviews, and strategic updates.
Go-to-market alignment : Align with the sales leader to support regional execution.
Qualifications 3–6 years of experience in B2B software sales, ideally in ConTech, SaaS, AEC, or digital transformation.
Hunter mindset with strong prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing skills.
Interest in the built environment and digital construction workflows (BIM, digital twin, asset management).
CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and pipeline management.
Self-starter, curious, and highly client-focused.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Spanish : native or fluent
English : fluent (for internal coordination)
Portuguese : a plus
