Your mission
The Product Manager is responsible for developing the strategic plan and setting the product roadmap and championing the marketing plan for all programs, including new program introductions and enhancement to existing programs. The Product Manager plays a key leadership role in managing implementation of the strategic product roadmap and annual marketing plan; achieving enrollment, revenue and profitability targets for new and existing products; launching new products / initiatives; managing stakeholder relationships; and establishing metrics and processes for monitoring success
Your profile
- Lead development of the strategic plan, product marketing roadmap, and marketing plan for new program introductions; resource, manage, and support the prioritization and completion of projects with internal and external stakeholder
- Collaborate with the Academic and Admissions Teams to develop compelling, differentiated product messaging and positioning throughout the costumer journey
- Develop marketing and communications plans to effectively position programs in their respective markets.
- Create outstanding materials and collaborate in the development of high-performing marketing campaigns that contribute to increased sales pipeline and new customer acquisition
- Develop a deep understanding of relevant markets, including the competitive landscape, target segments, and student motivation and decision making; identify, recommend, and develop potential market opportunities based on this understanding and strategies for competitive differentiation
- Develop proactive, market-driven, actionable methods of identifying new product introductions or improvement opportunities for existing products using both internal data and external data
- Train Admissions team on our programs, the value propositions for each and their differential selling points
- Conduct market research to continually bring the voice of the market to the marketing strategies
- Supervise brand positioning and consumer insights, and communicate our vision and mission
- Translate brand elements into plans and go-to- market strategies
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
- Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
Position requirements
Degree in Marketing or a related fieldProven working experience as Product Manager on Higher EducationProven ability to develop product marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executivesExperience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaignsExcellent understanding of the full marketing mixStrong analytical skills partnered with a creative mindOutstanding communication skillsUp-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practicesFamiliarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho CRM.Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics.Understanding of CMS platforms such as WordPress or Umbraco.Knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Tiktok ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.A solid understanding of digital channels and the ability to analyze and report performance across platforms like Meta and Google is highly valued.
