📍 Location : Madrid (Work center in Arganda del Rey)

🕹️ Modality : Hybrid (60% on-site)

✈️ Frequent travel : 2–3 short trips per month (1 to 4 days) across European countries

🚀 Are you ready to take part in pioneering satellite communication projects?

At Exceltic , we are looking for a Ground Segment System Engineer to join a top-tier team involved in multiorbital satellite constellations . You will work in a secure, international, and multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development of critical infrastructure for institutional and defense missions.

🛠️ Main Responsibilities

Contribute to Ground Segment System Engineering activities, especially in satellite communication constellations.
Prepare technical documentation :
▪ Specifications
▪ Architecture and design documents
▪ Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
▪ Design Justification Files
Define Ground Segment interfaces and support system Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
Participate in technical reviews with customers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Satellite Ground Segment projects .

Proven experience managing relationships with customers and suppliers .

Solid background in institutional projects and multidisciplinary teams .

Knowledge of communication protocols and cybersecurity principles.

Theoretical and practical understanding of Satellite Communications and / or Ground Segment Engineering .

Familiarity with System Engineering methodologies in satellite / aerospace environments.

Strong ability to maintain a system-level perspective .

Experience using System Engineering and Requirements Management tools .

EU nationality and willingness to undergo EU Secret Clearance .

Fluent English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
