The European Investment Bank (EIB) invites applications for a 5‑month traineeship located at its Luxembourg headquarters. The traineeship commences on 1

st

March / April 2026, with a possible extension of up to 6 months if required by the university.

Eligibility

Only applicants who are nationals of EU Member States or citizens of EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine) will be considered. Candidates whose Erasmus+ programme overlaps with the duration of the traineeship will not be considered.

Objective of the Traineeship

The trainee will support the exploration and adoption of automated testing practices within a defined scope, such as a single development team or pilot project. The trainee will research best practices, pilot selected tools or frameworks, and prepare documentation to facilitate future adoption.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a review of current testing practices within a selected team or project.
• Pilot one or two automated testing tools or frameworks, with guidance from the supervisor.
• Document findings, challenges, and recommendations.
• Prepare onboarding materials or a short presentation for other teams.
• Participate in team meetings and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
