Job Description :

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Health and Safety professional to fill the role of Health and Safety Manager.

• Supporting our engineering team and operations EHS team for pre-start-up safety reviews and commissioning activities on new process lines will be an essential aspect of this position.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for health and safety continuous improvement will also be key.
• The effective implementation of processes for conducting regular inspections, audits, and assessments of project sites and operations to monitor health and safety effectiveness and identify areas for improvement will be critical.
• Developing processes to manage safety risks related to interfaces between project activities will also be important.
• Providing health and safety training, communication, and awareness to project staff and contractors on topics such as accident prevention, hazard identification, emergency response, chemical management, and waste management will be vital.
• Ensuring that incidents, accidents, near misses, or non-conformities are reported and investigated, with appropriate corrective and preventive actions implemented, will also be essential.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, regulators, suppliers, subcontractors, etc., on health and safety matters and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of health and safety performance and plans will also be required.
