Responsibilities

• Analyse existing SAS code, including macros, procedures, and data steps, and translate business logic into DBT SQL models.
• Develop DBT tests to validate data quality and support regression testing during the SAS-to-DBT conversion.
• Support the migration and integration of legacy SAS-based processes into a modern ELT architecture using DBT and cloud data platforms.
• Read and write SAS code, including macros and PROC SQL, and collaborate with data engineering teams; apply data modelling techniques such as star schema and ELT patterns.
