Team Leader Software Development

Overview

Software Development Team Leader to join our Tech Hub in Madrid. We are looking for a highly driven, talented and experienced Engineer who can manage and develop a high-performance software development team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams (including Product Owners, Technical Leads, Software Quality Engineers, etc.), ensuring continuous growth and delivery excellence.
• Foster the creation of best-in-class teams, products and solutions through leadership, technical expertise, experience and strategic vision.
• Support teams in resolving cross-functional dependencies and challenges, enabling smooth collaboration across teams.
• Take full ownership of your domain, including solutions design, delivery, service operations and budget management, leveraging your teams’ performance.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with business stakeholders across multiple countries, supporting and helping the teams in effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Work closely with Product Owners to understand, rationalise and prioritise business needs, aligning them with IT budget and strategic goals.
• Oversee external providers, fostering strategic partnerships and driving win-win outcomes.
• Lead innovation initiatives across teams, solutions, and geographies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Empower teams to deliver scalable, multi-country solutions that comply with global IT architectural standards.
• Actively contribute to shaping and evolving the IT organisation, collaborating with peers to drive transformation and excellence.
