Overview

Are you a skilled System Engineer looking for your next challenge in a stable, international environment? We’re looking for a System Engineer to join a growing IT team based in Barcelona, supporting infrastructure and systems across multiple European locations. This role plays a key part in optimizing the shared services system landscape, contributing to stability, scalability, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor IT systems and infrastructure across locations.
  • Configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and tools .
  • Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise systems.
  • Participate in automation, integration, and cloud migration initiatives .
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently and independently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global IT projects and upgrades.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience in IT system administration or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server environments , VMware , Active Directory , and M365 services .
  • Solid knowledge of backup systems, storage, IT security , and network troubleshooting .
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills , structured approach, and team mindset.
  • Fluent English required; other European languages are a plus.
